Common questions

Pricing and Offers

Money questions first, because nobody likes surprises on an invoice.

How does the 10% seniors discount work?

Pensioners and seniors card holders get 10% knocked off the job total. Just mention it at booking and we apply it before you approve anything.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. $0 call-out fee, every visit. Someone qualified turns up and gives you an honest look at the problem, and it never costs a cent just to have them show up.

How do quotes work?

We look at the job, then give you one number in writing before anything is touched. Nothing moves without your yes first.

Do prices change once you start?

Not once you've approved the number. The price we quote is the price you pay, no exceptions, even if the blockage turns out gnarlier than expected.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

The legal side of drains, kept simple.

What is an overflow relief gully and why does it matter?

It's the small grated pit near your house, usually at the lowest point of the yard. It lets sewage overflow safely outside rather than backing up into the bathroom. A gully bubbling or overflowing is usually the first sign of a blockage further down the line.

Do wipes really block drains?

Yes, even ones marked flushable. They stay whole in the pipe, snag on tree roots or an old joint, and build a clog behind them.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

A plunger on one blocked sink or toilet is usually worth a go. Chemical cleaners and a hired eel can crack old clay or earthenware pipe, and drainage work in NSW legally needs a licensed plumber.

What warranty do I get?

Every job carries our lifetime labour warranty. If it's not right, we come back, no questions, no cost.

Common questions

Booking, Timing and the 30-Minute Guarantee

How fast we move, and how to lock in a time.

How do I book online?

Fill in the form on our contact page with your details and the problem. We'll ring to confirm a time. Booking online is also how you claim the $50 off when you book online offer.

How fast can you get here?

We guarantee on-site in 30 minutes, because a blocked drain doesn't wait for a convenient time. Call and a tech is already moving before you've hung up.

What happens after I call?

A licensed plumber picks up, asks a few questions about the blockage, and gets a tech moving straight away. On-site, we inspect, put a number in front of you, and only start once you've said go ahead.

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes, every day of the year, weekends and public holidays included. Whoever answers the phone actually knows plumbing, not just a script.

Common questions

Local to Pagewood

The questions specific to this street, not a generic drain FAQ.

Why do Pagewood's older drains keep blocking?

Plenty of houses in this pocket date from the 1950s and 60s and still run original clay and earthenware pipe. The suburb's sandy soil washes fine grit into any cracked joint, and established street trees hunting for moisture push roots into the same weak spots.

What suburbs do you service?

Pagewood is our home turf, plus we're regularly working across Botany, Eastgardens, Eastlakes, Maroubra and nearby Mascot. Give us a call if your street isn't listed and we'll confirm.

Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?

Yes. Between the Pagewood Green apartments and the older house blocks nearby, we quote both. That's single dwellings and shared lines, including common-area work a strata manager needs signed off.

Do you know Pagewood's pipe stock?

We do. Older brick houses, the newer townhouses, and the Pagewood Green precinct built on the old GM Holden site each run pipe from a different era. We've worked across all three, plus the odd surprise under a driveway poured decades later.
